Comments: I loved the illustrations in this book.  The book was how a mouse out foxed a cat.  What I liked about the story is how the author wrote it, where the reader can draw deeper questions of where our food comes from and how the animals being sacrifice feel.  Kids will read right pass these deeper questions the author presents.  Reading this story I couldn't help think about we feel and treat our animal food supply.  You can make connections with cows/pigs before they go to the slaughterhouse.  Great read for any age.
