The Copa America was held in the United States this year, 2016. There were 16 national teams that participated. This is a comprised list of all the players that participated by their national team. I got this information from the Copa America 2016 website, ca2016.com.
There are some interesting questions that came up as I studied the data. Examples:
• What are your chances of playing for your national team based on where you were born within that country?
• Some countries it doesn't matter where you were born to play for their national team.
• Which country has the youngest players on their roster?
• Which country has the oldest players on their roster?
• Which country has the most players playing outside their country?
• Which country has the most players in their domestic leagues and how did that national team do in the tournament?
